Outdoor time

David enjoys some quality time outdoors on the deck during a nice spring evening.

Happy Easter!

David went straight for the Reeses eggs even though he couldn't have any yet :) He had a great Easter and enjoyed his Easter baskets and other treats! It was a beautiful day, and we went walking outside too. David got tired from all the excitement and then Chipper curled up with him and took a nap.

Backyard

Our backyard is in full bloom, with the roses blooming and the hostas and hydrangeas coming up. David likes to play in the grass and practice his crawling. He likes to look at and reach for the flowers.

Beach!

David had a good trip to Holden Beach. He got to sit in the boat and took some walks on the beach. He played with his toys and enjoyed the sea breeze. David will be driving that boat before we know it!

Spring in the WRAL Azalea Garden

We enjoyed a nice spring afternoon in the WRAL Azalea Garden. David liked looking at the colorful azaleas.

Tax Day

David loves playing with Buddy. They read books, investigate the ring toys together, play on the couch, and chase the pool balls.

David's visit to Winston-Salem

David had a great time visiting his relatives in Winston-Salem! He saw both of his great-grandmothers and Brenda and big David and lots of others! He had fun playing with his toys. We had a good lunch, complete with strawberry pie.

Visit with Aunt K and Uncle Mike

David (and all of us) had a nice visit with the Richards. David read some books, played with some blocks, and even got to see Ms. Lisa!

David and Weston's playdate

David and Weston had a fun playdate at Weston's house in Lenoir! They played with balls and a bunch of fun toys that rattled and made noise. They also did some tummy time. Their mommies had fun hanging out too!

Weekend fun

The first weekend in April we enjoyed the sites and warm weather at Brookhaven nature park while daddy practiced throwing his cast net there, we played with Chipper who decided to make an appearance and was batting at the string on the alligator, and we cruised in the walker.

7 Months!

David was 7 months old on April 3rd! He is changing so fast - he has tons of hair that always sticks up, and still has his cute baby rolls. He is working on crawling and scoots forward and back some. He loves reaching and grabbing for everything - especially remotes and cell phones. He loves toys with gears. He likes to hand toys to you and pass them back and forth. He also loves balloons!
