N. Myrtle Beach trip

We had a great time at N. Myrtle beach! The weather was nice, and David enjoyed running on the beach, playing with his buckets, shovels, and trucks, and playing with the sea foam. He had fun seeing all the trucks and action in town for the SOS festival. He had fun with Nana and Papa and with Barb and Andy.

Easter Beach trip!

We had a great time at Holden Beach for Easter. The weather was nice, and David enjoyed running around on the beach, digging holes, playing with sand buckets and shovels in the sand, covering toes, and chasing balls. We had a nice time visiting with Jake's parents, Anna, and the grandmothers! David liked seeing the grandmothers and showing them his cars and choo choo. The Easter bunny came to see David, and he got cars!, a stuffed bunny, lots of candy, beach toys, a slinky, a monster truck, egg chalk, and more!

Visit with Nannie, Cindy, Katie, and Baby William

We had a great time visiting with Nannie, Cindy, Katie, and William. David loved seeing Nannie and playing with toys. He liked being kissed by Bunny Woozle. He had fun handing cars and choo choos to William, and the boys had fun chasing each other around! It was great seeing everyone!

Monster Jam

David enjoyed Monster Jam at the PNC Arena in Raleigh. There were 6 monster trucks, including Monster Mutt and Grave Digger, doing wheelies and jumping over cars, and there were also dirt bikes doing tricks. It was noisy but David didn't seem to mind. We were also in a suite with glass, so we could go inside or out. David loved seeing the trucks. Our friends Ashley, HJ, and Henry went too.

Fun times

David enjoyed the neighborhood Easter egg hunt. He has also enjoyed walks at Lake Lynn, snoozing, and running around the neighborhood with his airplane. He is a chatterbox and will repeat anything we say! He says everything from "tractor trailer truck" to "dadas jeep," to "dadas sleeping" to "purple tractor trailer truck" to "chatterbox" to "jibberish." Mama also taught him to say "Adios muchachos" and "Bonjour!" He loves his "duck" and his "Pooh" toys, which he asks for before naptime or bedtime.

Brooke and Weston come to visit

Brooke and Weston came from Lenoir as part of her school field trip, and they came to visit me and David! We met at the Science Museum downtown and walked around, then we came back to our house and played with toys. We all had a great time, and it was fun hanging out together! David and Weston were cute playing with cars and trucks together.

Fun at JC Raulston arboretum

David loves running around the arboretum. He especially loves running through the trails and over the bridges. When we visited this time, the arboretum had a special easter egg hunt going on. You could walk around and find the wooden eggs hidden around the grounds, then you took the letters from each egg, "unscrambled" them, and came up with the name of a flower. You then redeemed your answer for a prize. I knew what the answer was before even finding any of the letters.....the clue was an 8 letter flower...not too hard ;) Once I found an "F" and then a "D" my answer was confirmed. We got seeds for an Easter egg flower plant as a reward. David had a great time and used up a lot of energy running around!
