Aunt K was here for the Bar Exam and afterwards she went with David and me to Pullen Park. David had fun riding the choo choo, riding the boats, riding the carousel, and eating snacks. It was a fun day!
"Baby" David will be 3 in September 2013, and Baby Allison was born on June 24th, 2013! We are excited to be a family of 4!

Art Class and Pool
David and Whit and their mamas are taking toddler art and music classes through the City of Raleigh at Shelley Lake and Lake Lynn community centers. David and Whit have a good time! In music class, they sing songs, dance, and play with beanbags, sticks, and parachutes. In the first art class, the theme was "luau," and they painted pineapples with handprints, made lei necklaces, played in a tunnel and various stations, and watched a puppet show, which David decided to explore to figure out how it worked :) We've also been going to the pools a lot - the public pools and Aunt Anna's pool. David and Whit here are shown at Millbrook pool, where they enjoyed the baby pool, the splashgrounds, and then had lunch.

Beach trip with Henry and Lena
We had a fun beach trip with Henry and Lena and Ashley and HJ. The kids all enjoyed playing on the beach. David tried to watch Henry and "surf" on his boogie board. They all liked splashing in the water and playing in the sand holes on the beach. They enjoyed the boat ride and looking for crabs. David and Henry had fun playing with their new monster trucks and having pillow fights!

Fire Truck Parade
David went to the fire truck parade downtown with Mama and Nonnie. We had a good time. There were all kinds of fire trucks on parade down Fayetteville St. Then afterwards we got to climb in the firetrucks, we got cake to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the fire dept, we got free gifts like a birdhouse craft and fire hat, and we got to see the old timey fire trucks pour the water out. David liked all the trucks!
