Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween from Mickey Mouse! David had so much fun on Halloween. He loved helping "carve" his pumpkins. We even made a little monster truck pumpkin. He actually liked his Mickey costume, which was so cute because it was very soft and even had a tail. He loved the whole process of getting dressed up and walking around the neighborhood. He liked going to the neighborhood party beforehand and pushing trains and the Mickey plane around with Ellis. He loved all the candy and loved suckers and chocolate the best!  He also had several other opportunities to wear his costume - at Dada's work party and at his preschool party.

Visit to K and Mike's house and Weston's party

We had a fun visit to see Kimberly and Mike's new house in Winston! We played in the yard in the leaves and read books and played with trucks. We went to Lenoir and went to Weston's 2nd birthday party, and we also went to the Statesville balloon rally. The balloons were pretty at night. On the way home, we stopped by to see Mamaw.

David is getting ready for Halloween! He loves playing with trucks and chalk outside and on the driveway.

Little cone head!

David likes taking walks in our neighborhood. One of his favorite stops is the cul de sac with the traffic cones (that he likes to put on his head). Sometimes the monster truck is there too!

Funny book!

David loved the book the Pigeon Loves Things That Go!  He thought the hot dog was hilarious.

State Fair!

We all had a great time at the State Fair! We did all the usual things. David loved the kiddie rides. His favorites were the jeeps, the monster trucks, and the fire chief bus that went up in a circle. He also really liked the Field of Dreams exhibit and collecting vegetables in his pail. He also liked the electric train in the garden section. He liked the funny goat. He tasted fried cheese, pickles, mini donuts, Al's fries, and more!

Farmer's Market

I went with David's class for a field trip to the Farmer's Market. We did a scavenger hunt for things of different colors, picked out pumpkins, bought some crafts, and had lunch on the lawn there. David had fun running around with his friends, especially Maya!

Fall Festival

We went to the fall festival at Logan's garden store near downtown. David liked the cotton candy and popcorn and cider, the bounce house, painting a baby pumpkin, and sitting on the big pumpkin.

Library and Playground

David loves going to the library and playground! Here he is at the playground outside the Leesville library. We went to storytime (his favorite part is the Wheels on the Bus video) and then headed out to the playground for some fun.

The Weinermobile in downtown Raleigh!

David enjoyed seeing the Weinermobile in downtown Raleigh! It was in town to go to the state fair.
