Crawling Progression

David has progressed from an army crawl, which he would use to go all over the house, to a full-on all-fours crawl. He is a really fast crawler now and pulls up on everything. He also cruises on the furniture. Ice cream is a big motivator for him! The army crawl video was taken June 13, and the regular crawl video was taken July 7.

Fast Moves

David is a very fast crawler now and enjoys chasing the kitties down the hallway. He also loves pushing his push toy walker around the playroom.

Playing and Working

David and Whit had fun on their playdate at Whit's house. They crawled through a tunnel, played with cars, played with Elmo, and solved wooden puzzles. This is them having a cheerios snack.

Uncle Mike was in town Thursday and fixed our A/C! We are much cooler now!

David and Daddy day

David enjoyed a day with his daddy, which included story time at the library, a trip to the grocery store, and a walk in the park.

Beach

David enjoyed exploring the beach at the Holden Beach inlet. He is crawling everywhere very fast, and he also loves walking around with us holding his hands to guide him. It is a lot of fun to watch him play.

Lunchdate with Whit!

David enjoyed his first lunchdate with Whit at Moe's at North Hills! The boys enjoyed a variety of fruits, veggies, and other treats, while the moms had Mexican food. The boys did a good job of making a mess of the table and floor also! They seemed to enjoy themselves a lot, and it was cute watching them together.

Story time at the library!

David loves going to story time at the library, especially the Duraleigh library on Tues. or Wed. mornings. The program there is great - there are songs, group activities, and stories. David likes singing the songs, bouncing on my lap, looking at the books, watching the bubbles from the bubble machine, and playing with the other babies. He especially likes "Snuggle Up Together" and "Fly Me to the Moon" where he gets to blast off. Now that he is crawling everywhere he wants to get into everything!
