Hill Ridge Farms

We went to a 3 year old birthday party for Lawson (law school friend's son) at Hill Ridge Farms outside of Raleigh. It was a fun morning! We rode the train, took a hayride, visited a pumpkin patch and picked out a pumpkin, had a picnic and cake, rode a giant tube slide, played in the corn house, saw some goats, bunnies, and other animals, and rode a pony! It was fun, and David liked the pony. David had a good morning before his first NCSU game of the season!

David loves to do the gallop dance, especially to the Wheels on the Bus Song! When a song comes on he likes, he'll dance all over the room! So cute!!!

WCBA Family Picnic at Pullen

We went to the Wake County Bar Association family picnic at Pullen Park. We had bbq, Goodberry's sundae bar, saw a magic show, got some stickers and goodies, and rode the choo choo, carousel, and played on the playground. David had fun playing with Henry and Lena.

Happy 2nd Birthday David!

It's hard to believe that David is 2 years old already! He is such a smart, sweet, boy, and we love him so much. He is conversational and speaks very clearly. He likes to talk about trucks, animals, and pretty much anything! He likes music and likes to dance. He likes to jump in puddles. He likes to line up his monster trucks and his matchbox cars and roll them down the driveway and ramps. He likes walks and wagon rides and riding in Dada's jeep. He likes truck videos and Sesame Street. He likes fruits, veggies, pizza, gummy bears, and ice cream! We had monster truck pancakes in the morning and went to the science museum to see the snakes. Then later in the afternoon we had David's 2nd birthday party Monster Truck Jam out at JC Raulston Arboretum. It was a fun day! We had a picnic with nuggets, pasta salad, fruit skewers, and cake and brownies with monster trucks on them! David and friends liked to run around the garden. We did have a rain shower, and we all huddled in the gazebo for a little while, but it was fun, and the kids splashed in puddles afterwards. David got a lot of nice gifts, including a ton of monster trucks! I think he doubled his monster truck collection! He got large and small monster trucks, clothes, an airport toy, a bus toy, stuffed animals, puzzles, monster truck reusable stickers, books, and more. He had a great day!

Library and Home Depot and Park

We had a good Labor Day weekend.  We went to the library for animal story time and saw the gator, Easter bunny, snake, tarantula and more.  We also heard a story about animals.  It was in Spanish and English, and during the Spanish part, David said "What's he talkin' bout?"  It was hilarious.  Then during the showing of the tarantula, David started singing Itsy Bitsy Spider.  He was quite the comedian!  We went to Home Depot for its monthly Kids Workshop, and David and Dada built a football goal game.  We went to Fletcher Park and walked around and played soccer.  David rode on a school bus at the mall.
