Happy Halloween!

David had a spook-tacular second Halloween! He "helped" carve our pumpkin by pointing out seeds and by tossing his truck into the hole! The pumpkin has 8 teeth like David. David's costume this year was a brown bear! Jake and I also dressed up like brown bears, so we were "The Three Bears." (Although some people did think Jake and I were mice, lol, must be the ears.) We braved the rain and went to our neighborhood Halloween party and then trick-or-treated at a few houses. David's favorite thing was walking and pushing his push airplane toy around the neighborhood and in people's driveways. David is walking a lot now on his own! David even tasted some candy this year. He likes chocolate and lollipops and Reeses cups!

Pumpkins!

It's almost Halloween! We had a great visit to the State Farmer's Market. David liked sitting amongst the pumpkins and picking out vegetables. We also stopped by the JC Raulston Arboretum and took a walk on a nice fall day! David is wearing his Halloween bat shirt.

Cameron Village

We stopped by Cameron Village, and David got to see the fire engine parked out there. He even got to climb inside and try out the steering wheel. The fire engine was the Big Bad Wolf. David also got to see some baby chicks that were out. He also enjoyed some strawberry Goodberrys.

Fun

David's had another good week! We went to storytime at the library, and David liked looking at the bubbles and trying to pop them. He liked playing with Sophia. He had fun with Papa this week. Our neighborhood is playing the "boo" game - a neighbor leaves a surprise Halloween package on your door, and then you leave two surprises for two other neighbors. Once you've been "booed" you leave a sign on the door so that you don't get booed a second time. Eventually all the neighbors get booed. David got a "candy taster" bib, pumpkin carving kit, and some candy and other goodies.

Playdate with Henry and Lena

David had a playdate with Henry and Lena. David loved racing cars with Henry and chasing him around. He also liked pointing and smiling at Lena.
