Pullen Park (and Happy Birthday Mama!)

We had a great trip to Pullen Park for my birthday! It was another beautiful day (shorts weather!). We enjoyed the park, and it was a lot like I remembered from when I was little. We rode the train (long line), and the carousel. David liked the train and kept pointing and going "choo choo" when he would see it go by. David also enjoyed playing on the playground equipment and the red caboose. He also liked practicing his walking skills on the grassy areas near the lake. He would point at the paddleboats and say "boat" (or something close to it!). It was a great day, and I had a great birthday!

State's Big Comeback

David enjoyed a beautiful day watching State beat the Terps (well, we actually left before State's epic comeback ;)). It was fun though, and David enjoyed seeing Barbara and Diane. We had fun tailgating and at the game. David enjoyed running around and pointing at the trucks and golf carts. He also liked playing with his friend Ashley.

Happy Thanksgiving!

David's second Thanksgiving was a success! He even got to try some of the food this year! He enjoyed looking at the construction equipment at Mamaw's farm (and daddy took a ride on the crane), and he enjoyed looking around under the pecan tree (all the pecans were bad this year unfortunately). David also enjoyed seeing Grandmother and showing her his trucks. David enjoyed the Allen Thanksgiving as well - he got to see Granddaddy and Ruth and got to enjoy his books and the Christmas tree! It was a great couple of days!

Outside Time

David loves running the trails at Shelley and in our backyard. He also loves to slide! He likes following us around and doing what we do.

Duke Gardens

We enjoyed the nice fall weather at the beautiful Duke Gardens. David liked walking along the trails and playing with the soccer ball in the grassy area. There were so many photographers out - it was funny!

Fun times

Fun outside and inside - David loves to see and explore everything. He still loves his trucks and trains. He likes making truck and animal sounds. He loves reading books and looking at pictures of trucks. He also likes playing Duplo legos with Daddy and knows how to fit the legos together and take them apart. Daddy makes him Duplo cars and trucks, and then David enjoys destroying them.

Shelley Lake

David is becoming quite the little walker! He is starting to walk everywhere, and he's curious about everything. He also enjoys pushing his push airplace toy around outside and around our neighborhood. He likes to check out the trees, leaves, and geese. He is learning a bunch of new words like choo choo! He is so much fun and loves to learn! Here he is on a walk at Shelley Lake and playground.

Walks in the Park

It's a pretty time of year with the leaves changing. We visited Eastgate Park and Cooper's Pond. We also visited Lake Lynn and David enjoyed walking the trails.
