We went to Pullen Park with Nana and Papa, and David had a great time! He rode the choo choo, the boats, the carousel, and played on the playground on the slides and see saw and riding horses. It was a nice day out! Here are also some pictures of David in Nana and Papa's yard - on Papa's new patio and with Nana in the azaleas.
We visited Pullen Park on an unseasonably warm January weekend day where the temps were in the 70s! I think all of Raleigh visited that day too since it was very crowded. David tried out the kiddie boats, and he really liked that. He also liked walking around and looking at all the interesting people. There was a group of hula hoopers that he was interested in.
We had a great trip to Pullen Park for my birthday! It was another beautiful day (shorts weather!). We enjoyed the park, and it was a lot like I remembered from when I was little. We rode the train (long line), and the carousel. David liked the train and kept pointing and going "choo choo" when he would see it go by. David also enjoyed playing on the playground equipment and the red caboose. He also liked practicing his walking skills on the grassy areas near the lake. He would point at the paddleboats and say "boat" (or something close to it!). It was a great day, and I had a great birthday!
