David loves playing with the Gymboree bubbles - they last forever and are fun to pop. David is saying so many new words now - from bubbles to books to all kinds of cars and trucks, and moon and pink jeep and mamas truck and dadas truck to new words like diaper and colors!
David loves reading books. He can recognize and point out all kinds of objects and moving vehicles - he particularly likes naming dump trucks, big trucks, mack trucks, monster trucks, tow trucks, jeeps, cars, planes, jets, boats, helicopters, and choo choos. He can point out all kinds of things, from buoys to flying saucers. He knows body parts, animals, animal sounds, and household objects. He is learning so fast! Here he is pictured with a life size Richard Scarry book!
David likes playing soccer and kicking the all into the "goal." He also loves his Pooh baby and holds and cuddles it. He also likes to send Pooh on fun trips down the slide.
David enjoyed the storytime and dancing fun at North Regional Library. There were a ton of people there! After the storytime, we went and checked out a lot of books - mostly Richard Scarry books and books about trucks.
David and Whit had a fun playdate at the park. They played with trucks, played in the sandbox, and slid down the slides. They also ran around and played with balls. They look like they are up to something here!
We visited Pullen Park on an unseasonably warm January weekend day where the temps were in the 70s! I think all of Raleigh visited that day too since it was very crowded. David tried out the kiddie boats, and he really liked that. He also liked walking around and looking at all the interesting people. There was a group of hula hoopers that he was interested in.
David likes walking (and running!) around outside on the trails! He also likes walking and pushing his stroller in front of him. He's getting to be a big boy!!
We took David to the Observation Deck at RDU on New Years weekend, and he liked watching the planes take off. He says "pla," and is getting almost as excited about planes as cars and trucks and trains! The airport also has a fun playground and runway area for kids.
