Playdate with Whit

David enjoyed his second playdate with his friend Whit and Whit's mom Kim! (His first playdate at Whit's house and North Hills was also fun!) The boys were born 5 days apart and get along great! They love knocking over blocks and banging on pots and pans. I'm sure many more fun times are ahead!

First sailboat ride

David took his first sailboat ride on the Bodacious sailboat in Little Washington, NC. He liked the boat but was not a huge fan of the lifejacket he had to wear! We had really nice weather and enjoyed the sail.

Pool time

We got David a kiddie pool for the backyard, and he really likes it! The water was a little chilly, but he got in and played with his rubber ducky and toys. Mama got in too! The weather has been in the 90's this week, so it was nice to have a pool. I'm sure David will enjoy the pool this summer!

Playtime!

David enjoys playtime. He is getting to be mobile, rolling and scooting along. He is saying mama and dada and babbling a lot! He is also making a lot of raspberry noises too. He loves playing with his leapfrog activity table, wooden cube maze toy, fisher price learning home, and of course his walker.

Beach

David loves the beach! He liked standing in the sand and putting his toes in the water. The water was still a little cool. David loved playing in the sand and got it everywhere!

Aunt Anna took these great pictures in our backyard on Mother's Day! David looks adorable, and the colors and backgrounds of the pictures look really great!

Raleigh Contemporary Art Museum

We visited the Raleigh Contemporary Art Museum downtown. We had fun looking around. The highlight was a big trash bag sculpture that you entered through a refrigerator door opening, and then there was colorful plastics and paint on the walls inside. There was also a large cardboard box sculpture and light bulb art.

Strawberry fields

David had a good time picking strawberries at DJ's strawberry patch in Apex. He tasted his first strawberry and loved it! He got strawberry juice all over his hands, face, clothes, and hat. It was a lot of fun!
