Christmas Day

We had a great time at the Allen family Christmas! David loved opening his presents, and he got lots of nice things including a new trike, a bag full of monster trucks, a sticker book, a Richard Scarry book, an ice cream truck, books, and more!  The rest of us got nice gifts too including clothes, jewelry, kitchen items, a drill, and tools!  We had a good meal of beef tenderloin, and David entertained us by singing Jingle Bells while we all shook the Christmas tree placeholders! It was a fun day!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas morning!  Santa came!!!  He brought David lots of trucks, including a big dump truck to go with the new sandbox he brought, a green garbage truck, a green pickup truck, a monster truck school bus, Fillmore!!, Disney Cars books and characters, a Hot Wheels 8 foot race track, pajamas, truck and car shirts, and a stocking full of trucks (and stickers and chocolate and candy and more!)  David was so excited!!  He loved opening all the presents and his stocking, and then going out to see the sandbox!

Waiting on Santa

Christmas Eve night is here, and David is eagerly awaiting Santa to arrive!

Merry Christmas Eve

We had a fun Christmas Eve celebrating at Nonnie and Pops house. David loved opening all his presents! He got a lot of nice things, including a John Deere tractor, lots of truck and Disney Cars books, play doh, clothes, pajamas, and more. We had a good dinner and drove around to look at Christmas lights. David loved singing Jingle Bells in the car, but didn't want anyone else to sing!

David likes to help and is a good little cook. He likes to mix and put on lots of sprinkles.

Visit to Santa Part 2

We visited the Santa at Bruegger's Bagels at North Hills. We missed the preschool Santa due to stomach flu, and my work didn't have the Santa this year. David was not that impressed with Santa, but he didn't cry. He told Santa he wanted lots of trucks, a green monster truck from Yo Gabba, and more trucks.

Oh Christmas Tree!

David loves the Christmas tree again this year. He likes finding his favorite truck and train ornaments, carrying them around the house, and putting them back on the tree. He likes his new Gravedigger, glittery mixer, and glittery train ornaments.

NC Museum of Art Christmas party

We went to the Museum of Art Christmas celebration. David loved the "snow" outside that was made for the event. He liked to put his trucks in it. Inside, he liked making the ornament crafts and looking at the paintings of trucks. He also liked some of the games, like fishing and also eating smores.

Pullen Park Holiday Express

We had fun at the Pullen Park Holiday Express. Nana and Papa joined us, and we rode the train, rode the carousel twice, and saw lots of lights, including Santa in a helicopter. It was a nice night and not very cold. David's favorite was the train!

Thanksgiving Part 2 and Football Game

We had the Allen family Thanksgiving and ate lots of good food again! Then we went to the last football game of the year! State won, but it was very cold, so we didn't make it much past halftime! It was a fun season of tailgating and football.

Thanksgiving

We had a fun Thanksgiving Day in Winston! It was pretty weather, and we walked around the farm, took pictures, and rode on the golf cart. We had a lot of good food! We also went to the Morgan family gathering in the evening. We were stuffed!

David's preschool Thanksgiving show

David had fun singing "Gobble Gobble Gobble" and "Happy Thanksgiving" with his friends from school.

Lots of leaves!

Leaves, leaves, and more leaves! David loves walking around the neighborhood and jumping in the huge piles of leaves! He also likes swinging and jumping with Maya in the leaves near his preschool. He can't get enough of the leaves and the nice fall weather!
